CREDIT CARD UNLOCK

A three-spot live-action TV campaign that brings Credit Karma’s Cards Optimizer to life through relatable, everyday moments. Each :30 follows someone with a simple goal, like getting more from a trip, a purchase, or a busy day, and shows how Cards Optimizer helps them quickly find and use the benefits already in their wallet, unlocking more value from every card.

Challenge

Credit Karma’s Cards Optimizer makes it easier for members to get more from the credit cards already in their wallet, but the feature needed to feel simple, relatable, and useful in the moments people actually face every day. The project began as a $250K internal production, with an opportunity to develop a bigger creative idea worthy of broadcast.

Solution

As ACD and Art Director Lead, I helped shape the concept into three :30 live-action TV spots built around familiar, goal-driven situations. Each spot showed how Cards Optimizer helps people quickly find and use card benefits, unlocking more value from the cards they already have.

The work grew into a $2.1M production and broadcast TV media buy. I led the creative team from concept through execution, partnering with internal teams and an external production company while overseeing set design, location scouting, talent selection, and VFX. The campaign is currently in market, with performance results forthcoming.
